Whilst setting up my equipment I followed safe working practices by ensuring tripping hazards such as tables and chairs, tripods were at a safe distance to the side . I had someone at the side of the set to watch over the filming and move or readjust equipment and props that were in incorrect places and therefore could have been a hazard. I checked the functionality of all the equipment such as tripod and camera before filming so that I was sure the equipment was working as intended and therefore couldn't cause issues. I maintained proper posture and didn't position myself in any ways in which I could have been injured or been unstable. Whilst recording the shot of the fire I made sure that the tripod and camera were far enough away that they wouldn't get damaged or heat up warm enough to potentially injure anyone, I also positioned myself in such a way that allowed me to stay safe without sacrificing the quality of the shot.
